My Story
Why I'm taking on 120 miles for War Child:
Seven years of conflict have left around 7.5 million children malnourished and sent 3.3 million people on the move in search of safety. Many of Yemen's children will not make it to five years old. Those who have managed to survive the conflict so far have never known peace.
The conflict means millions of children can't get an education. How can they begin to imagine a future for tomorrow when finding food for today is such a struggle?
But War Child is on the ground, working with host communities and people who have been displaced. When children arrive after exhausting journeys of up to 120 miles, War Child helps them access food, water and other essentials. We also invite them into child friendly spaces, where they can continue to learn and be children again.
Every donation you make brings a child one step closer to a safer, brighter future.
